Gone RIDING was created by Liz and Eric Siewert, enthusiastic horse owners who actively enjoy trail riding, horseback pleasure riding and the sport of endurance ridng.
We have lived and travelled with our horses in some of the most amazing and remote parts of Australia, from the incredible Kimberly region in Western Australia, to the deserts of Alice Springs in Northern Territory, and now currently in legendary high country of North East Victoria where it is truly a horse rider's heaven.
The many hours spent in the saddle with our wonderful horses, meant we had to have comfort and practicality as our top priorities, and we are constantly searching for excellent and quality gear for our horses and for riding pleasure. We wanted tough Jeans without lumpy seams...the perfect joddies with practical leg pockets...a water bottle holder that actually stayed put and let you have a drink without having to stop riding...saddlebags that held everything in the right place...comfortable boots on our feet on or off our horse...and the list goes on. Now we are finally able to share the fantastic gear we have found, with you.
Gone RIDING retail store in Mansfield, Victoria, opened its doors in late October 2011, and we hope to be able to provide you with all of the fantastic gear and tack that we have sourced from all over the world, tried and tested by us, as well as all of the general saddlery, bare hoof care and boots, and natural horsemanship equipment that will keep you and your horse comfortable and having fun, no matter what discipline you are doing. We are adding new product constantly, so enjoy browsing and shopping, and finding new exciting and useful items for your riding pleasure!!
